Medico-Legal Reports

Medico Legal Reports are typically commissioned by solicitors. Whilst it is hard to generalise, they are often requested following some sort of trauma or accident suffered by one of their clients. Information is usually requested on the nature of the psychological injuries received, the contribution of the event to any psychological problems that continue to be experienced and the likely prognosis. These questions are addressed in a full psychological assessment conducted by face to face interview supplemented by the administration of psychometric tests and a review of the medical notes and other background information.
